Albert Jerome Triggs, 72, of Brinkley passed away on Thursday, February 20 at VA Central Arkansas Healthcare in Little Rock.

Albert was born on October 5, 1952, in Birmingham, Alabama to Albert Triggs and Rose Nell Rowser-Triggs.

Albert was raised in Detroit, Michigan and received his education from the Detroit Public School District.

Albert was a member of the Brown Chapel CME Church in Brinkley, under the leadership of Reverend Willie Branch Jr.. He was a former member of the St John Baptist Church in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He was a member of the Gospel Wonders Gospel Singing Group of Brinkley for more than 6 years. He had previously been a member of the Gospel Troop of Little Rock for more than 4 years.

Albert was united in holy matrimony to Lenora Mae Broadway on June 10, 2002.

"Al" as Albert was affectionately known was employed as a driver with Mid-Delta Transit for 4 years. He previously worked for the Brinkley Housing Authority for 3 years.

His parents: Albert Triggs and Rose Nell Rowser-Triggs; and four siblings: Patricia Black, Anthony Triggs, Dorothy Barrett, and Sonny Balam all proceeded Albert in death.

Survivors are: his wife of 22 years Lenora Mae Triggs of Brinkley, AR; three daughters: Bridgette (Robert) Moore of Detroit, MI; Teresa (Samuel) Calahan of Russellville, AR and Renita (Cornelious) Haney of Fort Worth, TX; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; one brother Obstolem Triggs of Detroit, MI; four sisters Barbabra Carter, Verdell Triggs, Winder Triggs and Minor Triggs all of Detroit, MI; his mother in law: Maggie Tucker of Dardanelle, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, at 10:00 AM at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive on Brinkley with Reverend Willie Branch Jr serving as the eulogist.
