Aline Woods

Aline Woods, 65, of Batesville formerly of Des Arc, passed away on Wednesday, April 16 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.

Aline was born on June 22, 1959, in Des Arc, Arkansas to Frank Robinson and Dezola Humbert-Robinson.

Aline attended the Des Arc Public School System.

While growing up in Des Arc, Aline was a faithful member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

Aline was united in holy matrimony to Richard Woods in December 1994.

"Early Bird" as she was affectionately known was a homemaker.

Her daughter Lashundra Barber; her parents: Frank and Dezola Robinson; and three siblings Rodney Robinson, Fabian Robinson and Reba Robinson all proceeded Aline in death.

Survivors are her husband of 31 years Richard Woods of Batesville, AR; six sons: Adrien Holloway of Des Arc, AR, Carlos (April) Woods of Little Rock, AR; Michael Woods of Inkster, MI; Grant Holiday of Oklahoma City, OK; Tacovie Woods of Cotton Plant, AR and Joseph (Amber) Lewis of Little Rock, AR; five daughters: Tanika (Eric, Sr.) Williams, Kenisha Jordan and Veronica Holloway all of Des Arc, AR; Keyona Woods of Cotton Plant, AR; and Cassie Woods of Batesville, AR; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers: Dearl (Makeshia) Robinson of Cotton Plant, AR; Aaron Robinson of Des Arc, AR; Kevin Humbert of Stuttgart, AR and Myron Robinson of Little Rock, AR; four sisters: Janice Saxton of Beebe, AR; Carol (Myron) Jones of Little Rock, AR; Veronica McCoy of Searcy, AR and Tywona (Martin Luther) Anderson of Des Arc, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 11 AM at Gospel Mission Church, 210 North Mission Lane in Des Arc with Pastor Norman Miles serving as the eulogist.
