Audrey Delee Campbell

Audrey D. Campbell, 89 of Brinkley, passed away on Friday morning, April 11 at Woodruff County Health Center in McCrory. She was the widow of Wilson M. Campbell.

Audrey was born June 23, 1935 in Wynne, Arkansas to Homer and Bessie Martin. She was one of nine children born to this union.

As a child, Audrey was raised in and attended school in the McCrory community.

Audrey was raised in the Apostolic Faith. She was a song leader in the churches she attended throughout the years. She was formerly of member of Christian Heartline Fellowship Church in Brinkley.

Audrey was united in holy matrimony to Wilson Matthew Campbell on May 25, 1955. This union produced three beautiful children.

Audrey was self-employed as a Child Care Specialist for more than 40 years. She absolutely enjoyed taking care of children in her charge.

Her husband Wilson Campbell; her son Mickey Campbell; a granddaughter: Kelly Turner; her parents: Homer and Bessie Martin: her siblings: Lewen Martin, Clovis Martin, Odell Martin, Clinton Martin, Alama Fowler, Grover Martin, Troy Martin and Leo Martin all preceded Audrey in death.

Survivors are: two daughters Patsy Arnett of Brinkley, AR and Paula (Timothy) McGinty of Heber Springs, AR; four grandchildren: Jessie (Emily) Arnett of Benton, AR; Amanda Arnett and Walker Cordell Campbell both of Brinkley, AR; and Broadie Faughn of Newport, AR; her great grandchildren: Nash Arnett and Jase Arnett both of Brinkley, AR; Addison Arnett and Audrey Arnett both of Benton, AR;  Kadence Faughn, Hoyt Faughn, Hayes Faughn, Layton Campbell and Lynnon Campbell all of Mena, AR her brother in law Floyd (Cathy) Campbell of McCrory, AR and a sister in law Shirley Lane of Cabot, AR; her Woodruff County Health Center Family and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held in Wednesday, April 16 at 2 PM at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 409 South Main Avenue in Brinkley with Elder Eddie Harvey serving as Eulogist. Interment will take place at Pumpkin Bend Cemetery in McCrory by C.J.
