Carson Dewayne Bolden Sr.

Carson Dewayne Bolden Sr., 67 of Augusta, passed away on Thursday morning July 20, at his home.

Carson was born July 13, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Bolden and Ida Morris - Bolden.

Carson was a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Augusta. During his early years, he was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Augusta.

Carson received his formal education from the Augusta Public School System. He was a 1974 graduate of Augusta High School.

After graduating high school, Carson enlisted into the United States Army, (and the Army National Guard). He received an honorable discharge after 6 years of service.

Carson was employed as a lineman with Woodruff Electric Co-Op for over 15 years until he retired.

His parents: Robert and Ida Bolden; a brother: Gregory J. Bolden all preceded Carson in death.

Survivors are: three sons: Robert Dewayne Bolden of Dallas, TX; Carson D. Bolden Jr. of

Searcy, AR; Rockeim Lacy of Keller, TX; his daughter: Valeria Williams of Kansas City, MO; his bonus son Harry Bonds of Little Rock, AR; 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers Joey Bolden of Inglewood, CA; Eric Bolden of Little Rock, AR; two sisters : Debbie (Adolph) Briscoe and Lisa (Rick) Gillespie both of Augusta, AR; A special friend Wanda Shockley of Augusta, AR; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 3:00 P.M. at Holy Ghost Academy Church of God in Christ, 927 South 4th Street, Augusta with Pastor Gerald Richardson officiating and Pastor Michael Johnson eulogist.
