Cassandra JoAnn Chapple

Cassandra Joann Chapple, 51, of Augusta, formerly of Cotton Plant passed away on Sunday, January 19 at the Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy.

Cassandra was born October 12, 1973 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Adam "AC" Conway Sr. and Peggy Chapple.

While growing up in Cotton Plant, Cassandra was a faithful member of Ash Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Cassandra attended Cotton Plant High School, where she was member of the class of 1992.

"Duck" as Cassandra was affectionately known was employed by the Searcy Healthcare and Oakdale Nursing Center as a CNA for over 20 years. She retired in 2019 due to health issues.

Her father: Adam "AC" Conway Sr.; her brother: Adam Conway Jr.; and her grandparents: Gracie Mae Jackson Stallings, Howard Chapple, Argentry Conway Sr. and Ruby Milton Conway all proceeded Cassandra in death.

Survivors are: her son Jermaine (Destiny) Bailey of Locust Grove, AR; , her daughters Sharmaine Bailey of Searcy, AR and Latonia Chapple of Augusta, AR; her seven grandchildren: Katraves Bailey, Katrell Bailey and Ka'Miya Webster all of Searcy, AR; , and Kyrie Chapple all of Augusta, AR, Anderson Bailey, Adam Bailey and Alijah Bailey all of Locust Gove, AR her mother Peggy Chapple of Searcy, AR; her sister Felicia ( Jacky) Wynne of Searcy, AR: her step grandmother: Clementine Chapple of Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, February 8, at 2:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Academy Church of God In Christ, 927 South 4th Street in Augusta AR with Pastor Christopher Chapple serving as the eulogist.
