Catherine Lee Green

Catherine Lee Green, 65 of Tulsa, formerly of Brinkley, passed away on Saturday March 18 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Catherine was born June 6, 1957 in Chicago , Illinois to Willie C Green and Katie Mae Calvin.

For many years while living in Brinkley, Catherine was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Elder Lawrence Devine and later Elder Larry Dixon.

Catherine received her formal education at Oakland Elementary school and later, Phillips High School, both in Chicago.

Catherine was employed in the healthcare field as a Certified Nurse' Assistant at Cla-Cliff Nursing and Rehab Center in Brinkley, AR; Prairie Healthcare in Hazen, AR; Rest Haven if Tulsa, OK and finally Leisure Village in Tulsa, Ok before retiring due to health concerns.

Her son Johnny Green her parents: Willie C. Green and Katie Mae Calvin and two siblings: Robin Green-Barnes and Marcus Green all preceded Catherine in death.

Survivors are: three sons: Larry Green of Tulsa, OK; Darvell Green and Willie (Janice) Green both of Oklahoma City, Ok; four daughters: Anne Green, Patricia Green, Christine Green all of Tulsa, Ok and Almatene (Terrence ) Green-Long of Memphis TN; eighteen grand-children; fifteen great-grandchildren; five brothers: William Green, Charles Green both of Brinkley, AR; Wilbert Green and Willie Green both of Cotton Plant, AR; Al (Tasha) Green of Augusta, AR; five sisters: Lillie Green - Perkins, Gwendolyn Green - Carter both of Oklahoma City, OK; Sabrina Green, Bertha Green and Shirley Green all of Tulsa, Ok; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 15 at 2:30 P.M. at the Brinkley Convention Center 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley. Interment will be Morning Star Cemetery in Cotton Plant by C.J.
