Chester Ruth Hall

Chester Ruth Hall 82, of McCrory, passed away on Wednesday July 26 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Chester Ruth was born on July 23, 1941 in McCrory, Arkansas to William Corely and Cleo Hall.

Chester Ruth was a lifelong member of Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Patterson, Arkansas where she served as a member of the church’s Mother Board.

Chester Ruth received her formal education from the McCrory Public Schools.

Chester Ruth was a homemaker. She loved and enjoyed babysitting and helping to raise several of her siblings, nephews and nieces.

Her parents: William Corley, and Cleo Hall; two brothers: Willie Bill Hall and Sylvester Hall; and two sisters: Gladys Hall and Ester Jean Corley all preceded Chester Ruth in death.

Survivors are her sister Willie Mae Hall of McCrory, AR; an aunt Earlene Garrison of McCrory, AR; a special nephew and caregiver Chester A. Hall of McCrory, AR; two special nieces and caregivers: Fallon (Juan) Reed of Augusta, AR and Dominique Hall of McCrory, AR; and a host of other nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on  Saturday, August 5 at 10:00 AM at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 114 Olive Street Patterson with Pastor Felix Duckworth officiating. Interment will be at New Quiet Cemetery in Augusta by C.J.
