Curtis Bernard Wynne, 63 of Brinkley, passed away on Thursday morning, July 11 at the CHI St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Curtis was born October 2, 1960 to Leo Wynne Sr. and Gloria Dean Pearson-Wynne.
Curtis recieved his education from the Brinkley Public Schools. He was a proud 1979 graduate of Brinkley High School.
After graduating high school, Curtis went on to enlist in the Arkansas Army National Guard.
Growing up Curtis was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Brinkley. In recent years he would on occasion attend Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Brinkley under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Lee.
Curtis was employed as a farmer by Leslie Brown Farms and Harold McGraw Farms of Brinkley for many years.
His mother Gloria Dean Pearson-Wynne and his brother Tony Wynne Sr. both preceded Curtis in death.
Survivors are: his father Leo Wynne Sr. of Brinkley, AR; his son: Sherby Palmer of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers: Leo (Pamela) Wynne Jr of Kansas City, MO; Bruce (Lorrain) Wynne and Freddie Wynne both of Mareno Valley, CA; one sister Gloria (Luther) Wynne-Belton of Colombia, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 4:00 pm at St. Paul Full Gospel Church, 509 Noth Emmons Avenue in Brinkley with Pastor Joseph Lee officiating. Pallbearers are Antoine Metcalf, Tyron Farmer, Jakobe Wynne, Ira Cooper Jr., Jarius Fayall, and Mario Love.
