Derry Webster Sr.

July 8, 1957 — March 24, 2025

Derry Webster Sr., 67, of Brinkley formerly of St. Louis passed away on Monday March 24 at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock.

Derry was born on July 8, 1957, in Madison, Mississippi to William Yarbrough and Lucille Stuckey.

Derry was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and received his education from St. Louis County Public Schools and Roosevelt High School.

In Derry's earlier years he was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Ferguson, Missouri.

Derry was united in holy matrimony with Joann Russell on March 8, 1996.

After relocating to Brinkley in 1994 "Tampa" "Debo" or "Country" as he was affectionately known was employed by Walmart in Brinkley for 10 years, Riviana Foods in Carlisle for 8 years. He was the owner and proprietor of the Brinkley Country Kitchen restaurant for 12 years before retiring in 2019.

Derry enlisted into the United States Army, where he served for 3 years before being honorably discharged.

His grandchild Dominic Williams; his parents: William Yarbrough and Lucille Stuckey; his siblings: Marco Webster, Dorothy Robinson, Willie Webster, Tony Webster and Dora Mae Greene all proceeded Derry in death.

Survivors are his wife Joann Webster; two sons: Derry (Amanda) Webster of Searcy AR and Patrick (Veronica) Webster of Conway, AR; three daughters: Derrese Webster and Jennifer Burnett both of Brinkley, AR; and Marquita Williams of Conway, AR tweleve grandchildren: Justin Webster, Jayda Webster, and Jaydon Webster all of North Little Rock, AR, Ethan Douglas of Brinkley, AR, Kamya Webster of Searcy, AR, Kerryngton Williams of Conway, AR, A'Maurie Webster of Conway, AR and Kingston Webster of Brinkley, AR; A'Maurie Davidson, Adriana Davidson, Raevan Shaw and JJ Shaw all of Searcy, AR; two brothers; Roosevelt (Sherry) Brown of St. Louis, MO and Archie (Marilyn) Crawford of St. Louis, MO; five sisters: Delois Greene, Claudia Jefferson, Deborah (Darrell) Spears, and Terry Faye Webster-Greenly all of Cape Girardeau, MO and Legetto Webster of Jefferson City, MO; his mother in law Ruby Payne of Brinkley, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 6:00 PM-8:00PM at CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 S Main Street in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4 at 2:00 PM at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley with Sis.
