Dorothy Lee Luster-Scott

Dorothy “Sista” Lee Scott 77, of Stuttgart passed away on Monday March 25 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Dorothy was born July 22, 1946, in Kingsland, Arkansas to Willie Luster and Eva Mae Jenkins.

While being raised in Kingsland, Dorothy attended the local public schools.

Dorothy attended Lively Stone Pentecostal Church in Stuttgart for more than 20 plus years. 

“Sista” as Dorothy was affectionately known, was a homemaker and enjoyed the simple things in life such as facetiming and video calls with her grandchildren, and hosting family and friends at her home.

Dorothy was united in holy matrimony to Albert Scott in 1999.

Her parents Willie Luster and Eva Mae Jenkins-Luster; three grandchildren: J.T. Luster, Paige Luster and Veronica Luster; her brother Willie Lee Luster Jr.; and her sister Juanita Thornton all preceded Dorothy in death. 

Survivors are her husband Albert Scott of Stuttgart, AR; three sons: Michael (Porcia) Luster of Norman Ok, Charles (Gail) Luster of Omaha, NE; and Varnell Walker of Stuttgart, AR; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; her brother Clyde Luster of Fordyce, AR; a sister Mae Ola Flennoy of Stuttgart, AR, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 6 at 2:30 PM at Lively Stone Pentecostal Church, 1204 N. Maple Street in Stuttgart with Pastor Alan Allen officiating.
