Erica Deshae Bonds

Erica Deshae Bonds, 50 of Little Rock passed away on Monday, May 27, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Erica was born December 17, 1973, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Billy James Bonds Jr. and Vivian Marie Wash-Bonds.

Erica obtained her education from Brinkley Public Schools graduating with the Brinkley High School class of 1992. She went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.

"Bunky" as Erica was affectionately known, was a member of the Allison United Presbyterian Church in Little Rock under the leadership of Pastor Marion Humphrey.

Erica was employed at the Glory Devine Day Care Center in Little Rock, Arkansas serving as a teacher's aide for over eight years, her passion was working with children. They brought her so much joy.

Erica enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to music, and traveling with her dad Billy "Soul" Bonds, spending time with family and loved cooking.

Her father Billy James Bonds, Jr; her brother DeCarlos Bonds Sr., maternal grandparents Leslie and Blonzie Wash; paternal grandparents Billy and Irene Bonds; uncles Michael Bonds and Harold Bonds; aunts: Bennie Graves and Betty Allen all preceded Erica in death.

Survivors are her mother Vivian (James) Bonds of Little Rock, AR; her brother Brandon Bonds of Little Rock, AR; and her sisters: Charlotte Bonds of Little Rock, AR; Shunette (Tony) Appleby of Chula Vista, CA; A dear friend Derrick Ward of Brinkley, AR; and a host nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday June 7, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Allison United Presbyterian Church, 922 Wright Avenue in Little Rock. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 08, at 3:00 P.M. at the Brinkley Convention Center,1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley with Elder James Michael Barnett officiating. Interment will be held at Harrison Cemetery, Highway 70 West in Biscoe by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 S.
