Harrison C. Kittrell, 69, of Augusta, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 18, at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy.
Harrison was born on November 12, 1954 to Harrison Kittrell Sr. and Ivory Arletha Peten. He was the eldest child born to this union.
Harrison received his education from the McCrory High School District. He was a proud graduate of McCrory High School Class of 1973. He went on the attend the Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Accounting in 1977.
Harrison was a faithful member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Augusta for more than 25 years. During his time there he served as a member of the Deacon board, he served as a church treasurer, as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the church choir.
Harrison was united in holy matrimony to Ruby Kittrell in April 1996.
Harrison was employed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services where he worked for 41 years before retiring in September of 2021.
His wife: Ruby Kittrell; one brother: Earl Kittrell; in-laws: Marilyn Poindexter, Mary Cotton, James Simmons, and Opal Turner, all proceeded Harrison in death.
Survivors are his: son Edward (Nicole) Tripp of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Ebony Tripp and Maya Tripp both of Jacksonville, FL; Jay Neal of San Diego, CA; Levi Tripp of Nashville, TN; Malik Neal of Portsmouth, VA and Tyree' Neal of Wichita, KS; five brothers: Bobby (Rosezeata) Kittrell of Patterson, AR; James (Etta) Kittrell of Little Rock, AR; Maynard (Belinda) Kittrell of Little Rock, AR; Terry Kittrell of McCrory, AR; and Albert (Tara) Kittrell of Little Rock, AR; three sisters in law: Jackie Poole of Augusta, AR; Wilma Kittrell of Patterson, AR and Jennifer Simmons of Augusta, AR; four brothers-in-law: Kin (Albert Dale Truscott) Xuxu of Orlando, FL; Henry L. Poindexter of Augusta, AR; Daniel (Francis) Clark of Plummerville, AR; and Paul (Chris) Simmons of Kalamazoo, MI and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 12 PM until 1 PM at the McCrory High School Auditorium, 511 North Jackson Street in McCrory. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, Promptly at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jesse Booker serving as the Eulogist.
