Isom Ivory Teague Jr

Isom Ivory Teague Jr., 59 of Las Vegas, Nevada formerly of Brinkley, passed away on Sunday February 18 at his home.

Isom was born April 15, 1964 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Isom I. "Buck" Teague Sr. and Ruthie Vance-Teague.

While growing up in the Brinkley community, "Moosey" as Isom was affectionately known, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend John Marshall.

Isom received his education from the Brinkley Public School, graduating with Brinkley High School class of 1982.

After relocating to Los Angeles, he then relocated to New London, Connecticut, where he was worked as head of security with General Dynamics Electric Boats. After returning to Los Angeles, he continued working as a Security Guard at a shipyard in El Segundo.

In 2012, Isom moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be near his brother Frantz, where he has remained until his untimely passing.

His parents: Isom Teague Sr. and Ruthie Teague; four brothers: Theopolis Teague, Ivory Lee Teague, Daniel Word and Jerry Word; two sisters: Evelyn Teague and Atlean Tyson all preceded Isom in death.

Survivors are: his children: Dorian Lawson, Shatondra Teague, Anthony Teague and Isnisha Teague; seven grandchildren, a great grandchild; three brothers: Frantz (Karen) Mormon of Las Vegas, NV; Walter (Patricia) Teague of Inglewood, CA and Darrell (Stephanie) Teague of Bakersfield, CA; his sister Debra Carter of Conroe, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, morning April 20 at 11 AM at the Brinkley Convention Center, (Pintail Room), 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley with Revered Darrell Teague serving as eulogist. Interment will take place at St. John Cemetery in Brinkley by C.J.
