Jamen JaJuan Jackson Sr., 29, of Jacksonville, formerly of Holly Grove passed away Tuesday, December 10, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
Jamen was born on August 25, 1995, to Robert Leon Jackson and Celestine "Tina" Tyler.
Jamen attended Clarendon Holly Grove High School District. He was a 2013 graduate of Clarendon High School. He later went to attend college at Arkansas Tech University of Russellville, Arkansas.
Jamen accepted Christ at an early age and became a member St. Paul AME Church in Holly Grove. He later joined Kingdom Builders Ministries in Holly Grove under the leadership of the late Apostle Scot Tyler Sr.
Jamen was employed at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart, AR, D&C Heating and Air Conditioning in Stuttgart, AR, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Program as the technician, and was currently employed as a Sales Associate with Wal-Mart for the last two years in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
His mother Celestine Tyler and his brother Terek Tyler, his maternal grandparents: Virda Mae Tyler and Earnest Tyler Sr. all preceded Jamen in death.
His survivors are: five children Jamen Jackson Jr., Jamure Jackson, Jayla Jackson, JaLaya Jackson, and Journi Jackson all of Clarendon, AR; his father: Robert Leon (Evelyn) Jackson of Holly Grove, AR; his grandmother: Helen Jackson of Holly Grove, AR; two brothers: Leon Keaton of Oklahoma City, OK and Darrell Keaton Sr. of Jacksonville, AR; four sisters: Tracy (Bruce) Bailey of Scott, AR, Marquitta Keaton of Fate, TX, Tiquanda Keaton of Holly Grove, AR, and Jakobi Johson of Jacksonville, AR; nine aunts: Darlene Benson of Spartanburg, SC; Joan Tyler of Jacksonville, AR; Shirley Tyler of Pine Bluff, AR; Norma Robinson of Atlanta, GA; Carolyn (Lynn) Boone of Helena, AR; Linda Adams of Atlanta, GA; Lula Tyler of Holly Grove, AR; Sandra (Reginald) Fleming of Spartanburg, SC; Gloria (Raymond) Rogers of Scott, AR; an uncle: Marvin Jackson of Memphis, TN and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Kingdon Builders Ministries, 400 North Pine Street in Holly Grove. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 10:00 AM at the Clarendon Holly Grove High School Auditorium, 320 North 7th Street in Clarendon with Pastor Adrian Tabb serving as eulogist.
