Jermaine Antonio Delewis Turner

Jermaine Antonio Delewis Turner, 41 of Searcy, formerly of Augusta, passed away on Monday morning February 5 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Sherwood.

Jermine was born February 25, 1982 in Searcy, Arkansas to Scottie Lewis Norman and Darlene Turner.

Jermaine received his education from the August Public School System. He was a 2000 graduate of Augusta High School. He went of to continue his education by attending ITT Technical College in Little Rock.

"Sticky" as Jermaine was lovingly called, worked for the Walmart Distribution Center in Searcy for more than 8 years. He had previously worked at Land-O-Frost meat packing plant in Searcy for several years.

Jermaine enjoyed a simple life of family, friends, gatherings, hard-work, looking his best and most of all his two beautiful children. He loved watching ESPN and all sports.

His father Scottie Norman, his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather all preceded Jermaine in death.

Survivors are his son Jermauri Turner of Searcy, AR; his daughter Journi Turner of Searcy, AR; his mother Darlene Turner of Searcy, AR; his paternal grandmother Bernice Norman Reedus of Augusta, AR; two brothers: Jamel Norman and Timothy Long both of Searcy, AR; four sisters: Alexis Green of Austin, TX; Sheena Akins of Horn Lake, MS; A'Tashai Williams of Jacksonville, AR; and Breanna Norman of Augusta, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, February 17 at 2:30 PM at Holy Ghost Academy Church of God in Christ, 927 South 4th Street in Augusta with Elder Robert Gibbs officiating. Interment will take place at Buckeye Cemetery in Gregory by C.J.
