Jesse James Curlett

Jesse James Curlett, 63 of Cotton Plant, passed away on Wednesday February 9, at Unity Health -White County Medical Center Searcy.

Jesse was born November 29, 1959 to Lula Mae Cohen and Robert Curlett Sr.

"Pluto" as Jesse was lovingly known, received his formal education from the Hazen Public School District.

Jesse was a former employee of Delta Plywood in Cotton Plant. He also worked at Patterson Sawmill in Des Arc and Jackie Henard Farms, Calvin McGowan Farms and Stewart Malin Farms for several years.

A brother Robert Curlett Jr., two sisters: Patricia Cohen and Janell Curlett all preceded Jesse in death.

Survivors are: his son Andre Milton of Atlanta, GA; his daughter Dominique Bailey of Searcy, AR; three grandchildren; his parents: Lula Mae (Robert Jones Sr.) Love of Cotton Plant, AR; and Robert Curlett Sr. of Hazen, AR; two brothers: Clarence (Raquel ) Love of Apple Valley, CA; Rickey Love of Batesville, AR; eight sisters: Mary Joe (Jimmy) Hutcherson-Jackson and Lisa Love both of Cotton Plant, AR; Tammy Love of Searcy AR; Janice (Tracy) Love of Covington, GA; Sharon Curlett of Little Rock, AR; Teresa Waits of Sherwood, AR; Evelyn Curlett of Hazen, AR; Betty Joyce of Dewitt, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 5 until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 19 at 1 PM at First Baptist Church-James Addition, 178 McGowan in Cotton Plant with Reverend Donald Wilson officiating. Interment will take place at Harrison Cemetery in Biscoe by C.J.
