Josie Renaie Arnold

Josie Renaie "Joice" Arnold, 55 of Little Rock, formerly of Holly Grove, passed away on Saturday evening, September 23 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.

Josie was born March 25, 1968 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Weston "Boone" Arnold Jr and Viola Middleton-Arnold.

"Joice" or "Jackie" as Josie was lovingly known was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Holly Grove. While growing up in First Baptist, she sang in the choir and also served as a member of the Usher Board. Although she moved from the area, she never stopped supporting her church financially and would often attend when she came home to visit.

Josie received her education from the Holly Grove Public School system. She was a 1986 graduate of Holly Grove High School.

Josie was formerly employed by J's One Stop in Holly Grove and Riceland Foods in Stuttgart. She also worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Crest Park Retirement Inn in Stuttgart for a few years.

Her mother Viola Middleton Arnold and her sister Stephanie Ladd both preceded Josie in death.

Survivors are: two sons: Jimmy Arnold and Kenneth Enlow both of Little Rock, AR; her daughter Deanna Arnold of Little Rock, AR; her grandchildren: Ro'Niyah Cartwright, Keon Enlow, Kayden Enlow and Adrian Enlow all of Little Rock, AR, her parents Weston (Vern) Arnold Jr of Holly Grove, AR; two brothers: Derrick (Natalie) Arnold of Little Rock, AR; and Corey Ladd of Clarendon, AR; two sisters: Westina (Clark Sr.) Malone of Little Rock, AR; and Tiara Arnold of Holly Grove, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 1 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church, 156 Mimosa in Holly Grove with Reverend Ronald Laurant officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hayes Cemetery in Holly Grove by C.J.
