Katrina Lawuan Motton-Page, 38 of Little Rock, passed away on Thursday October 17 in Little Rock.
Katrina was born on May 24, 1986, to Lorenzo Page and Avon Motton. She was raised by her parents Avon and Garbiel Gillum.
As a child, Katrina attended and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Litte Rock.
Katrina recieved her education from the Little Rock School District. She was a 2004 graduate of Central High School in Little Rock. She went on to enroll and graduate from Washington Barber College in Little Rock.
"Trina" as Katrina was affectionately known worked at the Smoker Friendly Tobacco Shop in Little Rock. She had previously worked as a Dispatcher for a local company for a time. After she graduated high school she worked for Whetstone Boys and Girls Club for a short period of time. She was also a licensed barber, and she enjoyed cutting children's hair for back to school and other special events.
Her fathers: Lorenzo Page Sr. and Gabriel Gillum; her maternal grandparents: Clyde Motton and Willie B. Glass Motton all proceeded Katrina in death.
Survivors are: her mother Avon Gillum of Little Rock, AR; her dog: Woo Motton Page of Little Rock, AR; her godson: Toney Farmon of Little Rock, AR; three brothers: Terry Gillum of San Diego, CA, Michael Page of Michigan, and Lorenzo Page Jr. of Flint, MI; two sisters: Elka (Bruce) Tripplett of Phoenix, AZ and April Page of South Carolina; her godmothers: Brenda Wells of Little Rock, AR and Crystal Keys of North Little Rock, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 3, at 2:00 PM at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley.
