Lauretta Holland

Lauretta Holland, 89, passed away on Friday March 14 at her home in Stuttgart.

Lauretta Holland was born on July 3, 1935 in Cotton Plant, AR to Charles Holland and Amanda Arbor.

Lauretta attended school at the Cotton Plant School System.

Lauretta was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Brinkley for 20 years. She had previously been a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church in Cotton Plant. She witnessed to the public and had different bible studies at different family homes in the community with her fellow witness brothers and sisters.

Lauretta worked for Bog Jacks Barbecue in Cotton Plant for several years before retiring and becoming a homemaker.

Her grandson Michael Williams; Her parents: Charles Holland and Amanda Arbor-Chunn; her deceased siblings: Hazel Robinson, Shirley Chunn and Marshall Chunn all proceeded Lauretta in death.

Survivors are her five sons Kenneth (Joann) Holland of Chino Hills, CA; Jerry (Thelma) Holland, Michael Holland and Stanley Holland all of Brinkley, AR and Derrick Boatman of Wrightsville, AR; three daughters: Brenda Holland and Kathy Holland both of Little Rock, AR; and Faye Holland of West Memphis, AR; 35 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, March 27 from 5 until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors Chapel, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, at 2:00 PM at Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley with Bro. Willis Crew serving as speaker. Internment will take place at Ash Grove Cemetery in Cotton Plant by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley (870)589-5036 and Stuttgart (870) 672-7100.
