Lawrence Lee Harris Sr., 69, of Biscoe Arkansas passed away on Monday June 3rd at his home.
Lawrence was born March 9th, 1955, in Biscoe, Arkansas to Roy Lee Harrison Sr. and Dorothy Mae Watson.
Lawrence received his early education from the Biscoe Public Schools in Biscoe, Arkansas. He went on to attend DeValls Bluff High School, where he graduated with the class of 1975.
Lawrence was a lifelong member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Biscoe, Arkansas.
He enjoyed dancing, singing, music, playing dominoes, bean bag tossing, watching the razorbacks was a member of the Biscoe Razorback Club, and enjoyed tailgating. Lawrence was a family person, enjoying family gatherings, helping others in the community, and tinkering with things around the house.
Lawrence was employed by Lennox Industries in Stuttgart, Arkansas for more than 25 years until his retirement in 2016.
His mother: Dorothy Mae Jones, stepfather John Otis Jones; brothers: Roy Lee Harrison Jr. and Flavious Daniels all preceded Lawrence in death.
Survivors are his wife of 44 years: Phyllis Anita Harris of Biscoe, AR; sons: Nathaniel (Latoya) Harris and Michael Harris Sr. both of Arlington, TN; Lawrence (Tamika) Harris Jr. and Joel Robinson both of Stuttgart, AR; and Shykeem Harris of Lonoke, AR; daughters: Danita (Larry) Cox of Stuttgart, AR; Everlena (Donald Jr.) Harris - Bonds and Dorothea Mae Harris both of Biscoe, AR and Sundra Tinsley of North Little Rock, AR; twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild; his father Roy Lee Harrison Sr. of Chicago, IL; brothers: Harold Smith, John Otis (Lola) Jones Jr., Calvin Jones and Reverend Lionel (Phyllis) Jones all of Biscoe, AR; sisters: Jeffen Roddy, Lena (Harold) James both of Biscoe, AR; Linda (Joe) Dietrich of Des Arc, AR; Reginia Harrison, Arleander (Terry) Raiford, Gena Harrison, Annette Harrison, Elizabeth Harrison, Joann Harrison and Valerie Harrison all of Chicago, IL and a special cousin: Florence Nance of De Valls Bluff, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday evening, June 7 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 406 East Dixon Street in Biscoe. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 8th, at 10:00 AM at De Valls Bluff School Auditorium, 710 East Sycamore in De Valls Bluff with Reverend Larry Jones officiating. Interment will be at Harrison Cemetery ,Highway 70 West in Biscoe by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 S.
