Lenyon Stewart

Lenyon Stewart, 65, of Holly Grove, passed away on Thursday, February 29, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Lenyon or "Len" as he was affectionately known was born on September 4, 1958 in Holly Grove to Edgar Doll Stewart Sr. and Mildred Cartwright Stewart.

Lenyon received his education from the Holly Grove Public Schools. He was a 1976 graduate of Holly Grove High School.

Lenyon was employed for over 25 years with the New Peoples Gin in Holly Grove. He was a hard work and enjoyed his job.

Lenyon enjoyed living a quiet simple life with family and friends. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His parents Edgar Doll Stewart Sr. and Mildred Cartwright-Stewart; his siblings: Robert Stewart, John Stewart and Louis Franklin Stewart all preceded Lenyon in death.

Survivors are two sons: Lenyon Davey and Michael Davey both of Holly Grove, AR; a daughter: Sandra Davey of Humphrey, AR; seven grandchildren: Devonta Amos of Holly Grove, AR; Nadia Davey and Precious Davey both of Little Rock, AR; Montrell Williams and Dontrell Williams both of DeWitt, AR; Demarcus Moten of Humphrey, AR; Odessey Amos of Stuttgart, AR; Landyn Davey of Brinkley, AR; a dear friend Linda Davey of Holly Grove, AR; three brothers: Ronald Stewart of Little Rock, AR; Edgar Stewart of Aroura, IL; and Benjamine Stewart of Holly Grove, AR and one sister: Ethel Stewart of Chicago, Il, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 16 at 2:30 PM at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Highway 86 in Holly Grove With Reverend William Black officiating. Interment will take place at Hayes Cemetery in Holly Grove by C.J.
