Lorraine McDonald Kelly, 72, of Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, December 31 at her home.
Lorraine was born March 9, 1951 in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas to Wallace McDonald Sr. and Lula Mae Gilbert-McDonald.
While growing up in DeValls Bluff, Lorriane was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. In her youth she sang in the Junior Choir.
Lorriane received her education from the Biscoe, Arkansas and East Moline, Illinois Public Schools. She was a graduate of United Township High School in East Moline, Illinois. She went on to attend Blackhawk College in East Moline, where she earned an Associate's Degree.
Lorraine was employed as a Driver for Dealers Auto Auction in Little Rock for a couple of years. She had previously been employed by the Bishara Family in Little Rock for more than 20 years as a Domestic (Housekeeper and Nanny).
Lorriane was the founder of the "Boss Ryders" Biker's Club in Little Rock. She was also a member of the Royal Cavilers Club and the Wheelettes. She was considered the mother of the bike world. She used the name of "Stormy" or "Mama Stormy".
Her great grandchild Karter Allen, father Wallace Allen Sr., brother Wallace Allen Jr., maternal grandparents: Joe Gilbert and Maggie Gilbert; paternal grandparents: Chester McDonald and Ercyele McDonald; brother-in-law John Abram, aunt Lena Anderson, special cousin Joyce Perryand and special nephew Orlando "Dinky" Brown all preceded Lorraine in death.
Survivors are: two sons: Patrick (Teresa) McDonald of Jonesboro, AR; Brian Kelly of Little Rock, AR; her daughter Lynne Kelly-Moore of Little Rock, AR; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her mother Lula Mae McDonald of DeValls Bluff, AR; two sisters: Evelyn Anderson of Rock Island, IL and Alice Faye Abram of East Moline, IL her extended family members: Eric Williams, Kenyotta Dotson, Shawndreka Dotson, Sherrod Dotson, Taiwan Dotson and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday evening, January 12 from 6 until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 13 at 10 AM at Fellowship Christian Church, 89232 Sunset Lane in Little Rock with Pastor Cedric M. Sharp Sr. officiating.
