Lottie Dell Johnson

Lottie Dell Johnson, 81 of Brinkley, passed away on Friday April 7, at Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care Center Little Rock.

Lottie was born on July 7, 1941, in Moro, Arkansas to Marshal Johnson and Elnora Cape-Johnson.

Lottie has been a faithful member of Grand Street Church of Christ in Brinkley since 2006.

Lottie received his formal education from the Moro public schools. He graduated Carver High School in Moro in 1958.

Lottie was employed as a Technician with Cummings Heat and Air Conditioning for more than 20 years until he retired in 2013. He had formerly been employed with Wagoner Industries (Brinkley Motors) for more than 26 years.

Lottie actively served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1963 - 1965, when he received a Bronze Medal and an honorable discharge for his service to the nation.

He was united in holy matrimony to Magnolia Camper May 6, 1966.

His parents: Marshall Johnson and Elnora Cape-Johnson and his brother Marvin Johnson all preceded Lottie in death.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years: Magnolia Camper-Johnson of Brinkley, AR; four sons: Jeryle (Ydalia) Johnson of Little Rock AR; Edgar Wayne (Felicia) Johnson of Nashville, TN; Terrell (Wanda) Hunt of Memphis, TN; and Stephen (Courtney) Johnson of Alexander, AR eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 15 at 1:00 PM at the Grand Street Church of Christ, 923 North Grand Avenue in Brinkley with Brother Harold Smith officiating.
