Lynn Ann Shelton

Lynn Ann Shelton, 48 of Jacksonville, formerly of Brinkley, passed away on Thursday, February 1 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Lynn was born September 6, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Mary Ann Tyson and Louis Polk Sr.

Lynn was raised in Brinkley along with her twin sister Linda and her brothers. She received her formal education from the Brinkley Public Schools system. She was a 1993 graduate of Brinkley High School. She went on to earn a degree and certification in Medical Billing and Coding from Heritage College in 2013.

Lynn was employed as a Billing Agent for the Foot and Ankle Clinic of Central Arkansas in Little Rock for more than 2 years. She had previously worked with the Arkansas Diagnostic Clinic in Little Rock for four years.

"Wee Pooh" or "Lynn Lynn" as she was affectionately known, was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Ann Tyson and Louis Polk; her paternal grandparents: Garland and Mattie Polk; and maternal grandmother Mattie Bell Tyson.

Survivors are: her son Jonah Williams of Jacksonville, AR; two daughters: Asia Miller and Khennedei Williams both of Jacksonville, AR; her twin sister Linda (Tony) Williams of Pine Bluff, AR; five brothers: Bobby Tyson of Dallas, TX; Willie (Alicia) Shelton and Victor (Tamara) Polk both of Little Rock, AR; Louis Polk Jr. of Maumelle, AR; and Calvin (Meredith) Tyson of Conway, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 10 AM at St. Paul Full Gospel Church, 509 North Emmons Avenue in Brinkley with Reverend Tony Haskins officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Brinkley by C.J.
