Lysander Shered

Lysander Shered, 49 of Hazen, passed away on Monday May 8, at Chambers Nursing Home Center Carlisle.

Lysander or "Grasshopper" as he was affectionately known was born May 19, 1973, in Stuttgart, Arkansas to William Thomas and Thelma Roland.

Lysander attended Prairie Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hazen under the leadership of late Reverend Donald Strong.

Lysander attended the Hazen Public Schools System.

His parents: Williams Thomas and Thelma Roland; two brothers Eldridge Shered and Mario Earl all preceded Lysander in death.

Survivors are: two daughters Shanice Shered and Lysundra Shered both of Stuttgart, AR; five grandchildren; three brothers: Rickey Hussey of Hazen, AR; Argarrick Howard and Jay Cohen both of Russellville, AR; two sisters: Maria Burton of Stuttgart, AR; Antoinette Earl of Russellville, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be om Friday, May 19 from 4 PM until 6 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors & Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue Brinkley. Interment will be private by C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley (870) 589-5036 email: williamsfuneraldirectors2022@gmail.com .
