Mary Regina Roberts

Mary Regina Roberts,75 of Clarendon, passed away on Tuesday June 19, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway.

Mary was born November 22, 1947 in Holly Grove, Arkansas to William Davis and Bertha Houston.

Mary was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church of Clarendon, for more than 10 years. Where she sang in choir and was a dedicated and faithful member. She would often visit other local churches as well.

Mary attended the Holly Grove Public School System.

"Big Jean" as Mary  was affectionately known, was the widow of Forrest Roberts Jr. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother to her 5 children.

Her husband, parents: William Davis and Bertha Houston, her grandson Elgia Roberts and a brother Michael Brown all preceded Mary in death.

Survivors: two sons: Frank Roberts of Decatur, Ill; and Michael McNeal of Clarendon, AR; three daughters; Linda (Bobby) Roberts- Gross of Charleston, MS; Victoria Roberts of Chicago, Ill; and Angela Robinson of St. Louis, MO; 17 grandchildren; her companion Jerome Cooperwood of Clarendon, AR; eight brothers: Jessie Hodges and Jimmy Davis both of St. Louis, MO; James Brown and Greg Davidson both of Little Rock, AR; Don Davis of Hattiesburg, MS; Alfred Brown of Forrest City, AR; Floyd Brown of Chicago, Ill and Fred Brown Grand Rapids, MI; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 11 AM at the Clarendon/Holly Grove High School Auditorium, 320 North 7^th Street in Clarendon with Reverend David Wilson officiating.
