Mikel Brian Sparkman

Mikel Brian Sparkman, 47, of Forrest City passed away on Saturday, August 17, at Forrest City Medical Center.

Mikel was born on September 8, 1976, in Forrest City, Arkansas to Larry Eugene Harris and Betty Sparkman.

Mikel was baptized at Jesus Name Holiness House of Prayer.

In his earlier years he was employed by Sweet Pea's Restaurant in Wheatley for two years.

Mikel's brother Robert "Buddy Moe" Eugene Webb; maternal grandparents Andrew and Bernice Sparkman; paternal grandparents Marvin and Marzie Harris all proceeded Mikel in death.

Survivors are his: one daughter Mya Sparkman of Stuttgart, AR; two grandsons; Laderis Allen Jr. and Jamarion Sparkman both of Stuttgart, AR; father Larry Harris of Wheatley, AR; mother; Betty Harris of Forrest City, AR; three brothers; Daron (Kim) Sparkman of Forrest City, AR, Jason (Kirstyn) Harris of Forrest City, AR, and Cortez Webb of Brinkley, AR; nine sisters: Donna (Ike) Sanders, Mykela Sparkman, Jennifer Harris, Jessica Harris, Sarah Harris, and Rachel Harris all of Forrest City, AR, Cindy Webb of Wynne, AR, Francine Webb of Jonesboro, AR and Candy Webb of Brinkley, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday evening, August 24, from 5PM until 6PM at CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations Chapel, 124 S Main St, in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley.
