Racquel Edwina Sain

Racquel Edwina Sain, 44 of Stuttgart, formerly of Clarendon passed away on Tuesday April 9 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.

Racquel was born March 31, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Carl Edward Parks Sain and Mynett Wiley. 

Racquel received her education from the Clarendon Public Schools. She was a proud member of Clarendon High School class of 1999.

 After high school “Kel or Big Baby ” as Racquel was affectionately known, became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Cla-Cliff Nursing and Rehab Center in Brinkley for several years. She would later gain employment at Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart, where she had been currently employed for more than 12 years. 

Her father Carl E. Parks Sain and stepmother Carmanetta Sain preceded Racquel n death. 

Survivors are her daughters: Laterria Allen and Tyonna Cartwright both of Stuttgart, AR; her mother Mynett Wiley of Clarendon, AR; a brother Anthony Glass of Clarendon, AR; two sisters Faithia Wylie of Stuttgart, AR and Tiffany Hampton of Holly Grove, AR; her best friend Bobbie Gaither-Smith of Forney, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 20 at 2:00 PM at the Clarendon – Holly Grove High School Auditorium, 320 North 7th Street in Clarendon with Reverend Willie Gilmore officiating.
