Ramonia Roberts

Ramonia Roberts, 72 of Holly Grove passed away on Monday, March 17 at her son's home in Garland, Texas.

Ramonia was born on February 9, 1953, in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Robert Ewans and Salonie Pike Ewans. She was the widow of the late Marvin Roberts.

Ramonia was a faithful member at the Church of God in Christ in Forrest City where she served as the church missionary.

Ramonia received her education from the Holly Grove Public School System. She was a member of the 1971 class of Holly Grove Vocational High School.

Ramonia was a loving and dedicated wife mother, grandmother and sister. She was a strong believer in taking care of family and keeping them together.

Her husband Marvin Roberts; her parents: Robert and Salonie Ewans; and her two siblings Thurman Wright and Jerry Morris proceeded Ramonia in death.

Survivors are her four sons: Tommie Ewans of Granite City, OK; Derrill Ewans of Garland, TX; Marvin Roberts Jr. and Charles Tripplett both of Tallahassee, FL; three goddaughters: Maple Williamson Brown Arguijo of Jonesboro, AR; Shalonda Jones and Ramona Jones both of East St. Louis, IL; eleven grandchildren: Tommie Ewans Jr. of Omaha, NE; Darius Eason of Fayetteville, AR; Nikima Ewans of Conway, AR; Zetelia Willis of Tulsa, OK; David Kelley of Holly Grove, AR; Aniya Ewans of Garland, TX; Sidney Thomas of Los Angeles, CA; Ethan Ewans of McKinney, TX; Chase Roberts of Jonesboro, AR; Aeriel Roberts and Zyriel Roberts both of Sikeston, MO; two brothers: Leslie Ewans Sr. and Robert Ewans Jr. both of Holly Grove, AR; three sisters: Betty (Roy) Ratliff and Gail (James) Collins both of Holly Grove, AR and Cheryl (Frank) Wilson of Fenton, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 AM at CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main St in Brinkley with Bro Derrill Ewans serving as eulogist.
