Raymond Clay Jr., 76, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sunday April 30, at Hospice Home Care Center in Little Rock.
Raymond was born on April 18,1947 in Biscoe, Arkansas to Oswald Clay and Cora Lee Green-Clay.
"Ray" or "Curtis Ray" as Raymond was affectionately known, received his early education from the Brinkley Public Schools system. He was a 1965 graduate of Marian Anderson High School.
Raymond was the proud owner of Ray's Cleaning Service where he worked for over 20 years. He had previously been employed as a Janitor at the Southwest Mall in Little Rock.
His parents four siblings: Erma Jean Thomas, Bernice O'Neal, George Clay and Percy Clay all preceded Raymond in death.
Survivors are two sons: Otis Clay of North Little Rock, AR and James Clay of Fargo, AR; one daughter: Toineka (Vernon Moore) Nicole Clay of Conway, AR; two brothers: Henry (Beverly) Clay of Almont, NY; James Clay of Houston, TX; seven sisters: Mae Bertha Haggans of Chicago, Il; Bonnie (Elgin) Coleman of Plano, TX; Bessie Daniels of Little Rock, AR; Rosie Jones of Brinkley, AR; Josephine (Bennie) Brown of St Paul, MN; Lillian (Donnie) Williams of Houston, TX; a special friend and caregiver Lila Williams of Little Rock, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 2:00 P.M. at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley.
