Robert Fitzgerald Chunn

Robert Fitzgerald Chunn, 60 of Brinkley, passed away on Thursday, December 21 at his home.

Robert was born January 13, 1963 in Fargo, Arkansas to Thaddus Chunn Sr. and Jannie Mitchell-Chunn.

As a child, Robert and his family attended New Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Cotton Plant.

Robert received his formal education from the Brinkley Public Schools. He was a 1982 graduate of Brinkley High School.

"Rob" as Robert was known by all, was self-employed as a Mechanic for many years. He was a former employee of T&S Sawmill in Clarendon for 6 years and Discount Tires in Little Rock for more than 7 years.

His father Thaddus Chunn, step-father Theodore A. Williams Sr., and a sister Girtie Lou Chunn all preceded Robert in death.

Survivors are: his mother Jannie Williams of Cotton Plant, AR; five brothers: Thaddus (Sylvia) Chunn of Atlanta, GA; Theodis (Joyce) Chunn and Ocie (Annette) Chunn both of Brinkley, AR; Edward (Carrie) Chunn of Wrightsville, AR and Theodore (Talenishe) Williams of Little Rock, AR; two sisters: Clarice (Gordon) Smith of Little Rock, AR and Carolyn Sloan of Compton, CA; and a host of other relatives.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 31 from 4 until 6:30 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Interment will be private.
