Ronald Dillard

Ronald Dillard 69, of Brinkley, passed away on Tuesday, February 14 at Colonel Glenn Health and Rehab Center Little Rock.

Ronald was born June 4, 1953 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Samuel Dillard Sr. and Mittie Cade-Dillard

Ronald was a lifelong member at Mount Olive Ministries Brinkley (Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church).

Ronald his formal education at Brinkley Public School System. He attended Marian Anderson High School and Brinkley High School. He was a member of Brinkley High School Class of 1971.

Ronald was employed as a Custodian for the Brinkley Public School Systems for over 28 years, before he retired in 2015 due to ill health. He had previously worked as a bartender for the Little Rock Club in Little Rock for several years.

His stepson Keith Pruiett; his parents Samuel Dillard Sr. and Mittie Dillard; two siblings: his twin brother Donald Dillard and Charles Dillard all preceded Ronald in death.

Survivor's are his wife Connie Dillard of Brinkley, AR; four sons: Ronald (Crystal) Turner and Reginald (Chiedza) Turner Both of San Antonio, TX; Zack (Ashley) Pruiett of Jacksonville, AR; Patrick Pruiett of Little Rock, AR; four daughters: Kimberly Blackmon-Simmons of Benton, AR; Danita Turner of San Antonio, TX; Jacqulyn Pruiett-Dillard and Nicole (Stanley) Pruiett-Floyd both of Little Rock, AR; 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Samuel Dillard Jr. and William Dillard both of Brinkley, AR; two Sisters: Irene Dillard of Brinkley, AR; Deborah (William) Smith of Jackson, TN. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, February 24 from 5 until 7 PM at C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations, 124 South Main Avenue in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 2:30 PM at Mount of Olive Ministries, 1200 North Main Street Extended in Brinkley with Reverend Oscar M. Conyears officiating. Internment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, East Maple Street in Brinkley by C.J.
