Ronald Dewayne Foster 50, of Holly Grove (Pine City Community) passed away on Thursday, June 6 at his home.

Ronald was born on August 4, 1973, in Little Rock, Arkansas to James Cotton Jr. and Louise Foster.

Ronald received his education from Holly Grove Public School System. He was a proud 1991 graduate of Holly Grove High School.

As a child growing up in Pine City, Ronald attended First Pentecostal Church. He decided to rededicate his life to Christ in June 2023.

In earlier years Ronald or "Wide", as he was affectionately known, was employed as a farm laborer with Hill's Farm.

Ronald's mother Louise Foster; maternal grandparents; Hollis Foster Sr, Ruthie and Arthur Lowery and paternal grandparents; James Cotton and Arlene Jefferson, his aunt Annie Irene Lowery and uncles; Leory Davis, James Gray, and Hollis Foster Jr. preceded him in death.

Survivors are his: one son Darius Jackson of Atlanta, GA; one daughter: Roniqua Foster of Holly Grove, AR; three grandchildren: Keyarah Foster and Kamaria Cartwright both of Holly Grove, AR and Bryson Nelson of Kansas City, MO; his father: James (Brenda) Cotton Jr of Kansas, City MO; his brother: James (Lauren) Cotton III of Kansas, City MO; four sisters: Ruthie Foster of Pine City, AR; Leslie Esteridge, Marisa Robinson, and Tyesha Douglas all of Kansas, City MO; Four aunts: Barbara (JC) Hall of Blackton, AR; Arthelia Johnson of Pine City, AR; Dorothy Jenkins and Betty Allen both of Holly Grove, AR; seven uncles: Steve Lowery, Jerome (Carolyn) Lowery, and Donnie (Stacy) Lowery all of Pine City, AR; Alvin (Trevor) Lowery of Holly Grove, AR; Harvey (LaMonica) Lowery and Lonnie (Tremelle) Lowery both of Stuttgart, AR; and Calvin Lowery of Lemoore, CA; six nephews: Antonio Booth Jr., Cortez Gould Jr., John Esteridge, Jordan Esteridge, Deseon Nieland, and James Cotton IV; six nieces TaNylah, Tailyn, and TeAysia Booth, Ava and Zoe Coleman, and Jayla Cotton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday evening June 14, 2024, from 5 PM until 7 PM at CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 am at Pine City Cemetery, Pine City Road in Pine City with Minister Barbara Hall officiating.
