Ruby Lee Mabry

Ruby Lee Brown-Mabry, 62, of Clarendon passed away on Monday, November 4 at her home in Clarendon.

Ruby was born on February 27, 1962 in Marianna, Arkansas to Louis Brown Sr. and Dezola Lane.

Ruby attended Lee County Public Schools and Clarendon Public Schools where she graduated with the Clarendon High School class of 1981. She later went on to attend Phillips Community College in Stuttgart.

Ruby accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and became a lifelong member of Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Clarendon.

In her earlier years, she was employed by Hazen Tech in Hazen for more than 10 years. She also worked for Riceland Foods and Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart. She later went to work at Marty Mart/ The Chicken Shack where she worked for 5 years until her health began to fail.

Ruby was united in holy matrimony to Keith Mabry

Her husband Keith Mabry; her parents: Louis Brown Sr. and Dezola Brown; and her sister: Annie Young, all preceded Ruby in death.

Her survivors are: one son: Ronnie Brown of Little Rock, AR; one daughter: Larissia Statewright of Clarendon, AR; eleven grandchildren: Khloe Jackson of Clarendon, AR; Dillion Brown of Little Rock, AR; Devin Brown, Daniel Brown, Dixon Brown and Nash Brown all of Roe, AR; Jamen Jackson Jr., Jamaure Jackson, Jay'la Jackson, Ja'Laya Jackson and Journi Jackson all of Clarendon, AR; six brothers: Louis Brown Jr. of Clarendon, AR; Jerome Cooper of Stuttgart, AR; Robert Brown of Hope, AR; Curtis Brown of Little Rock, AR; Herod "Mike" Brown of Hensley, AR, and Charles Brown of Little Rock, AR; three sisters: Janice Brown and Pauline Wiley of Clarendon, AR; and Sandra K. Singerton of Arlington, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, at 2:00 PM at Clarendon Holly Grove High School Auditorium, 320 North 7th Street in Clarendon with Reverend Al Betts serving as the Eulogist.
