Sam Henry Green Jr.

Sam Henry Green Jr, 48, of Clarendon passed away on Wednesday, August 7, at his home.

Sam was born June 14, 1976, in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Sam Henry Green Sr. and Helen Jean Harris-Green.

Sam received his education from the Clarendon High School District. He was a proud graduate of Clarendon High School Class of 1994. He went on to attend Westwood College in Dallas, Texas where he earned an Associates degree in Interior Design.

Sam moved to Dallas after graduating high school in 1994, where he made a life for more than 20 years before returning to Arkansas in 2014.

Sam was a member of Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Clarendon.

Sam was employed by Concept Services of Dallas .for the past 4 years.

Sam's father Sam Green Sr. proceeded him death.

Survivors are his: mother Helen Jean Green of Clarendon, AR; a brother Alvin D. (Glenny) Green of Little Elm, TX; two sisters: Sharon Green of Plano, TX and Regina Green of Dallas, TX; two nephews: Nicholas Jamal Green of Dallas, TX and Samuel Marcus Bruner of Plano, TX: one great nephew: Cory Javon Douglas Green of Allen, TX; five nieces: Jessica Marie Green of Allen, TX, Courtney Marie Green of Plano, TX, Kaylisha Jean Richardson of Lathrop, CA, Heleena-Zoe Beatrice Green of Little Elm, TX, and Zia Ysabelle Green of Little Elm, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening August 16 from 6 until 8 PM at Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Highway 302 in Clarendon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 1:00 PM at Clarendon Holly Grove High School Auditorium, 320 North 7th Street in Clarendon with Reverend Chris Young officiating. Internment will take place at Shady Grove Cemetery, Highway 86 North, in Clarendon by CJ Williams Funeral Directors and Cremations of Brinkley (870) 589-5036.
