Samuel Dillard Jr.

Samuel Dillard Jr.,78, of Little Rock, formerly of Brinkley, passed away on Friday, June 28 at his home in Little Rock.

Samuel was born on January 16, 1946, in Brinkley, Arkansas to Samuel Dillard Sr. and Mittie Cade-Dillard.

Samuel received his education from the Brinkley Public Schools. He was a proud 1965 graduate from Marian Anderson High School.

Samuel was a lifelong member of the Mount Olive Ministries (formerly Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church) in Brinkley,

Samuel was employed as a Truck Driver with Old Milwaukee Company where he worked for over 20 years before he retired.

Samuel was united in holy matrimony to Erma Webb in 1967.

His wife; Erma Webb-Dillard, son Jimmy Lee Dillard, two grandchildren Mardell Pruiett and Chunkynice Dillard; five siblings Irene Dillard, Dorothy Cade, Ronald Dillard, Donald Dillard and Charles Dillard all preceded Samuel in death.

Survivors are his: six sons: Calvin Dillard of Brinkley, AR; Johnny Webb of Dallas, TX; Chucky Dillard of North Little Rock, AR; bonus sons: James Shelton of Texas; Dale Bailey and Keith James both of Brinkley, AR; one daughter Coretha Dillard of Little Rock, AR; a bonus daughter Jackie Dillard of Little Rock, AR; one brother William Dillard of Brinkley, AR; one sister Deborah Smith of Jackson, TN; seventeen grandchildren; Kernice Pruiett, Kentrell Pruiett, and Khalyah all of Little Rock, AR, Keith (Charity) Pruiett of Harrison, AR, Bridjette (Ronnie) Mitchell of Oklahoma, Reggie Mitchell and Jeremy Mitchell both of Okalahoma, Kyera (Earl) Dillard of Conway, AR, Jarvis Dillard, Jimmy Dillard, and Jocelyn Dillard of all of Little Rock, AR, Tavon Dillard, Tashawn Dillard and Bri'Ash Dillard all of Little Rock, AR, Calvin Dillard and Sammy Dillard and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Mount of Olive Ministries, 1200 North Main Street Extended in Brinkley AR.
