Tiffani Macine Gant

Tiffani Macine Gant, 39 of Brinkley, formerly of Cotton Plant, passed away on Tuesday April 4 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock.

Tiffani was born October 8, 1983 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Leon Gant and Neacy Carroll-Gant. She was the eldest child born to this union

Tiffani was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cotton Plant for more than 20 years, where she sang in the choir, served as co-director of the Youth Department and as a youth Sunday school teacher. She was formerly a member of New Mount Zion House of Prayer in Cotton Plant.

Tiffani received her formal education from the Cotton Plant Public School. She was a 2002 graduate of Cotton Plant High School. She went on to pursue her higher education by attending Arkansas State University in Beebe, where she received a Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Technology in 2004. She then went on to attend Crowley's Ridge Technical School in Forrest City, where she earned a degree in their LPN (Licensed Practice Nurse) Program in 2008.

Tiffani was employed as an LPN with the ARCare Clinic in Brinkley, where she worked for 14 years. She had previously been employed by the local Brinkley McDonalds Restaurant for more than 9 years.

Her parents: Leon Gant and Neacy Carroll-Gant, five uncles: Verlon Carroll, Clifford Carroll, Jimmy Frazier, Rogers Carroll, Warren Carroll Sr., three aunts: Shirley Short, Luella King and Ruthie Mae Gant; maternal grandparents: Ulysee Carroll Sr. and Ednea Bunch-Carroll; her paternal grandparents: Mary Lou Gant and Sherman Walker all preceded Tiffani in death.

Survivors are: two children: Ladybug and Champ of Cotton Plant, AR; two sisters: Tamera Gant and Mya Gant both of Cotton Plant, AR; her godchildren: Ashlyn Bodkins of Brinkley, AR; Josiah Kittrell and Eli'Sha Kittrell both of Ward, AR; Alice Grice of Little Rock, AR; Tianna Woodhouse of Marion, AR; and Tiffani Bailey of Cotton Plant, AR; an uncle: Ulysee (Brenda) Carroll Jr. of Chicago, Ill; eight aunts: Laura (Albert) Boyd of Country Club Hills, Ill; Gloria Carroll and Dorothy Williams both of Little Rock, AR; Myrta (Reginald) Adams of College Station, AR; Shirley Carroll of Chicago, Ill; Carolyn Carroll of Inkster MI; Yvonne Carroll of Jacksonville, AR; and Florence Frazier of Brinkley AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 14 from 6 until 8 PM at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4259 Highway 306 in Cotton Plant. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 10 AM at the Brinkley Convention Center, 1501 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley with Pastor Gerone Hobbs is officiating.
