Unice Brayboy, 67 of Conway, formerly of Moro, passed away on Sunday afternoon September 15 at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas.
Unice was born October 23, 1956 in Moro, Arkansas to Issac Brayboy and Genever Carter-Brayboy. He was the 7th child born to this union.
Unice accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Williams at Garrett Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Moro.
At the age of 35, Unice relocated from his beloved home in Moro to Alexander, Arkansas and then on to Conway Arkansas to the Conway Human Development Center (CHDC), where he has remained a resident for a number of years.
Upon his relocation, Unice was able to further his education, enjoyed a full active social life forming bonds and relationships with his fellow CHDC residences/family as well as many others.
His parents Isaac and Genever Brayboy, and his sister Cathine Moore all preceded Unice in death.
Survivors are: his brothers: Reverend Levan (Jewel) Brayboy of Saulk Village, IL; and Carl (Joyce) Brayboy of South Holland, IL; sisters: Veola Mason of Mount Morris, MI; Verna Charles of Florissant, MO; Euarl Lee Brayboy of McDonough, GA; and Jeanetta (Manuel) Johnson of Riverview, FL; his aunt Arianna Smith of Toledo, OH and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday morning, September 21 from 9 until 10 AM at First Baptist Church, 2015 Main Street in North Little Rock. Funeral services will be held promptly at 10 AM with Elder Roy Johnson serving as eulogist. Interment will take place at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8507 AR-161 in North Little Rock by C.J.
