Willard Lamar Coleman

Willard Lamar Coleman, 44 of Holly Grove, passed away on Sunday morning, October 8 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart.

Willard was born September 20, 1979 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Willard Coleman and Brenda Cox-Coleman.

While growing up in Holly Grove, Willard and his family attended First Baptist Church, where he was baptized by Reverend F.L. Hall.

Willard attended the Holly Grove Public School District. He was a 1998 graduate of Holly Grove High School.

Williard began his career with Walmart in Stuttgart, Arkansas before relocating. After moving to Oklahoma, he continued to work with them. Previously, while living in Tennessee, he had been employed with FedEx in Nashville for more than a year.

Willard was united in holy matrimony to Chastity McElrath in 2011.

His maternal grandparents: Johnny Cox Sr. and Annie Bell Cox; his paternal grandparents: Henry and Willie Estelle Coleman; dear cousins: Patrick East, Apostle Scot Tyler and Joseph "Baby Joe" Campbell and several uncles and aunts also preceded Willard in death.

Survivors are: his wife Chastity McElrath Coleman of Hermitage, TN; three sons: Josiah M. Coleman, Chaz T. Coleman and Kash L. Coleman all of Hermitage, TN; three daughters: Dynasti G. McElrath, Ta'Niya J. Coleman and Imani A. Coleman all of Hermitage, TN; his parents: Willard Coleman and Brenda Coleman both of Holly Grove, AR; two brothers: Reginald (Joetta) Coleman Sr. of Dallas, TX and Thaddeus Johnson-Coleman of Kansas City, KS; three sisters: Dedra Deanna Coleman of Holly Grove, AR; Ryan D. (Earston, Sr.) James of Lancaster, TX; Tiffany (Richard) Diaz of Stuttgart, AR; a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening October 13 from 5 until 7 PM at Kingdom Builders Ministries, 400 North Pine Street in Holly Grove. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 2:30 PM at Kingdom Builders Ministries in Holly Grove with Pastor Adrian Tabb officiating.
