Willie Watson Jr

Willie Watson Jr., 64 of Stuttgart, formerly of Biscoe, passed away on Thursday March 30, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center Pine Bluff.

Willie was born on July 14, 1958 in Biscoe, Arkansas to Herman Watson Sr, and Nursie Burnett. He was raised by his adoptive parents Otha Lee Dunlap and Juanita Dunlap.

Willie was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Biscoe for more than 10 years, where he served as the church's drummer.

Willie received his formal education form the Biscoe and DeValls Bluff Public Schools. He was a 1977 graduate of DeValls Bluff High School.

Willie worked in constructions for many years. He was employed by Baldwin Shell Construction in Little Rock for more than 25 years.

His parents Herman Watson Sr. and Nursie Burnett and adopted parents: Juanita Dunlap and Otha Lee "Jabo" Dunlap and one brother Herman Watson Jr. all preceded him in death.

Survivors are: wife Sarina Anderson-Watson of Stuttgart, AR; five sons Darnell Murry of Searcy, AR; Kevionte Anderson of Prairie, TX; Vashawn Jones of Pine Bluff, AR; Pierre Anderson of Little Rock, AR; Torik Foreman of Des Moines, IA; two daughters: Sareka Anderson of Little Rock, AR; and Shalanda Moore of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren; four brothers Otha Lee (August) Watson of Warren, AR; Percy Cooper of Hazen AR; Mark (Faye) Campbell of Stuttgart, AR; and Melvin (Gail) Campbell of Hazen, AR; five sisters: Florence Nance and Allena (Bobby) Anderson Both of De Valls Bluff, AR; Shirley Watson of Chicago, Ill; Jeanie Watson and Lisa Marie Watson both of Little Rock, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 8 at 3 PM at De Valls Bluff High School Auditorium/ Community Center, 710 East Sycamore Street in DeValls Bluff with Reverend Willie Brown officiating. Interment will take place at Harrison Cemetery Biscoe by C.J.
